| Since the growing global warming and depletion of fossil energy resources in last decade,the search for renewable clean energy and the exploitation of new energy has become an important issue for future sustainable development.As a renewable resource term,the traits of wide sources derivation,high storability and continuous energy conversion rate,determines biomas energy will become a very promising alternative energy,therefore,biomass energy leads the future development of renewable energy will become an inevitable trend.As is a kind of energy herb,switchgrass is highly valued in many countries around the world The bottleneck part of biomass energy development is determined by the continuous supply of biomass materials,while abundant supply of switchgrass can guarantee the development of energy industry.In this work,six genotypes of switchgrass were planted in Northeast Normal University grassland experimental station,where located in the west of Jilin Province,including ones from Japan,Alamo,Trail,Ansai,Cave-in-Rock and Tongliao,The aim of this work is to researchswitchgrass biological traits,ecological adaptability,biomass yield and quality changes,to compare switchgrass growth performance,agronomic traits,and quality change,to select varieties can better adapt to western region of Jilin province.Finally,it can provide theoretical foundation and data references for the healthy development of biomass energy industry in West of Jilin province and the whole Songnen Plain region..The experimental results are as follows:(1)The biomass yield of six genotypes were compared in maturity stage,there were no significant difference in the first harvest year(P>0.05),but fresh biomass yield and dry biomass yield(7190 kg hm-2)of genotype Trail were significantly higher than other genotypes in the second year.(2)The results of quality comparison of six genotypes showed that,with the changing of growth stage,protein content showed a downward trend,neutral detergent fiber(NDF)and acid detergent fiber(ADF)were increased with growing stage;when compared the difference of total protein,NDF and ADF among genotypes,the nutritive value of genotype Ansai was better than others genotypes,whereas total protein content was highest and with a peak value20.28 percentage;cellulose and lignin content were increased with the developed of plants growth,wherein the cellulose content of genotype Trail was higher than other genotypes,conversely,the lignin content was lower than other genotypes,therefore.The results illustrated that genotype Trail and Ansai could be planted and distributed in the western region of Jinlin province.(3)It is critical to successfully overwinter for the switchgrass when planting in the western region of Jilin province.In this work,overwinter ability and overwinter survival ratewere compared among all the genotypes in the beginning of year 2014;the results showed that the root water soluble carbohydrate were not significant for all the genotypes,all the genotypes can pass the winter and alive in the second year,and genotype Cave-in-Rock performance a better overwinter survival rate than other genotypes.(4)The biological traits of genotype Tongliao were studied in this work,growth traits and grass quality were compared in two crop circles,the results showed that under-ground root biomass content was highest from 0 cm to 10 cm,and nutritional value was highest from June to August in the western of Jilin province,while the most suitable grazing time was in September,and the best energy value can be find from September to October. |
