Cassava is an important food grain and economic crops in southern China,can be widely used with food,feed and industrial use,and has great development potential in the field of biomass energy.With the gradual expansion of market demand for cassava,cassava acreage increasing.Cassava stalk accounted for more than 70%of cassava production,plenty of cassava stalk brought difficulties to harvest and subsequent treatment.Cassava stalk can be cut off and laid by cutting and laying device,the device have a role in promoting the overall level of mechanization of cassava and cassava industry development.In this paper,the research design of cutting and laying device as the main content,specific as follows:(1)Through on field investigation in the field of cassava stalk plant distribution,determination of the number of main stem of cassava stalk,the bifurcation of main stalk,cassava stalk diameter and the degree of deviation from the center line of cassava stalk,through the compression and shear mechanical properties experimental to analysis cassava stalk compression strength and shear strength,fully grasp the related effect technical parameters of cassava stalk cutting device placement to provide a theoretical basis for the design of devices.(2)Reference the research methods,mechanism of conveying and laying and the structure of laying device of high,thick,multi-branch stalk crops to design a suitable cutting and laying device for cassava stalk.Through the analysis and comparison of different clamping and conveying device to determine the structure of the cutting and laying device.(3)According to the biophysical properties of cassava stalk,in order to overcome the complex shape for cassava stalk clamping problems,the clamping and conveying mechanism of the cutting and laying device is designed as rotary belt structure combination with improved double belt clamping structure.To design the cutter,follow lifting device,clamping conveying mechanism,clamping band,clamping wheel and clamping way of the cassava stalk cutting laying device.(4)Preliminary study on the mechanism of cassava stem conveying laying,the movement speed of cassava stalk after landing is a significant determinant factors of smooth outward side placement,through the analysis of the two states which are cassava stalk to the end of the clamping and conveying device and cassava root after landing to establish the motion model,get the conditions of cassava stalk smooth outward side placement.(5)Through the Solidworks software for three-dimensional modeling of the tool cutter,based on ANSYS Workbench software to static analysis and modal analysis of serrated knife cutter disc.Through the statics analysis of the tool to prove whether it meet the strength design requirements.Through the modal analysis of the tool to get its vibration characteristics,analysis tool of deformation failure modes and natural frequencies to improve the dynamic stability of the cutting tool.
