Cassava is native to the Americas and is now widely cultivated throughout the world.According to the China Tropical Agriculture Information Network reported that in 2015 China's southern cassava planting area of about 830 thousand hectares, the total value of its underground tuber harvest close to 10.36 tons. According to the data, the ratio of the total weight of the cassava tuber and the ground stem to two is close to 0.8. That is to say,before harvesting the tubers, one must first dispose of the stalks on the ground. The total amount of ground stem is not a small number, its annual output of about 8.74 tons. But China's cassava production mechanization level is only 1.9%, development is very slow;and the growth of cassava geographical conditions and agronomic higher popularity is not the limiting factor, which makes the research of mechanized harvesting technology cassava stalk is basically in the blank stage.In recent years, with the development and utilization of the multiple development trend of continuous adjustment of China's tropical agricultural production structure and green plant stalk, stalk resources in the development and production of processing, more and more attention; at the same time, for the mushroom cultivation technology of biomass energy, the research is also in progress. This makes the research and development of cassava stalk shredder, became a top priority.In order to realize the cassava stalk at harvest can knead hammer crushing and collecting stem storage, design principle and practical experience we can learn from the corn stalk harvester, sugarcane harvester, cotton stalk harvester, grass silage harvesting machine, grinder and other mature high thick stalk machine, the design concept of a combined type pulverizer of cassava stalk harvest in theory, make improvement and reasonable design of stalk harvesting and crushing, extrusion parts system and its key segments, so as to achieve the integration of technology and innovative ideas.According to the green ecological agriculture production concept, with scientific and reasonable multivariate innovation, depth development of new biomass energy research objectives, in accordance with the requirements of agricultural machinery and equipment research and development technology, realize the transformation of cassava stalk medium science ideas and energy into macro fungi biomass economy strategy, combined with the physiological characteristics of cassava and agronomic requirements, design scheme of combined type cassava stalk harvesting and crushing machine. The key system and function structure of the machine include: the harvester, the central processing, the conveying system, the smashing system and so on. Its design concept greatly reduced the later optimization work, reduced the research cost.From the design concept, the combined type of cassava stalk harvester can be completed at one time on the stem of the harvest, extrusion section pretreatment,transportation, crushing, collection and many other processes. The research scheme theoretically improve the level of mechanization harvest cassava industry, to further reduce operating costs, improve the level of comprehensive utilization of straw, and pave the way for subsequent mechanized harvesting of cassava underground tubers; the harvest cassava production throughout the lower end of operation into the full mechanical process, improve production efficiency, and has the research significance very important.
