Cylinder block which has complex structure and high technical requirements is one of the basic parts of diesel engine.Better controlling of the cylinder block processing technology has positive significance for upgrading practical performance of cylinder,reducing cost,and improving market competition.Based on a survey of actual production,machining process for cylinder block of diesel engine is improved and the jig for a process is designed in this paper.In this study,the processing technology of the diesel cylinder block is designed in detail.First of all,be familiar with the working principle of diesel engine and the development overview both at home and abroad,the shortcomings of the existing machining process are analyzed,analysis processing characteristics and the main technical requirements,puts forward the idea of program design which includes the choice of the roughcast and formulating the technology program.Then,according to the commonly used existing process line and the relevant literature,streamlines the processing path,reformulates the cylinder block machining process route,and reduces by 12 unnecessary processes.Then here was introduced the positioning,clamping and processing methods and principles of the key process.Finally,determines the accuracy and processing man-hour quota to match the production and processing accuracy of cylinder block.Through the work of this paper,each cylinder Block takes time on the machine can save 17% for the actual production to reduce energy consumption,reduce costs and enhance processing efficiency,plays a very significant role,but also for the cylinder processing of scientific research and production accumulates to the original data,Which provides a template effect for the subsequent cylinder process design.In addition,the study is mainly about the design of the jig for expanding the tappet hole and analyzing the quality of cylinder block processing.Formulate the work piece’s positioning,clamping to fulfill the Technical requirements.Then,in accordance with the principle of jig design and clamping force and clamping points determine,design the local parts and components.Through this work,provides a reasonable design scheme,the design method of the jig used in expanding the tappet hole is determined,provide a reliable jig for improving the cylinder block machining accuracy.Finally,the quality of cylinder block processing is analyzed briefly,proposes a reasonable design jig and the use of appropriate processes to improve the quality of cylinder block processing methods.
