The radiator is an important part in the engine cooling system,in the modern vehicle cabin design in addition to request it is compact and reasonable structure size,also require it in high thermal efficiency,small flow resistance.Therefore,the design and optimization of radiators in vehicle applications are especially important.In order to meet the requirements of belt type radiator engineering design optimization,in this paper,based on the wind tunnel test,fitting the air side heat transfer coefficient and air side pressure drop and fluid pressure drop correlations,compared with the test data to verify the precision of the proposed correlation type is very high,can be used as a radiator the basis of the theoretical calculation.Then,the optimized software platform of radiator design was established based on the self-fitting correlation type with general structure.Design software platform adopts the method of computer design and calculation,able to quickly get a given structural parameters and external conditions of radiator heat transfer and resistance characteristics,can also be convenient for physical parameters and fitting connection type.Optimization software platform with the improved genetic algorithm to optimize design of radiator,and provides two optimization model,can be on the premise of meet the heat transfer characteristics to optimize the performance of resistance,or in the resistance to meet the request of the optimization of heat transfer capability.After optimization,the improvement plan of the structure parameters of pipe belt type radiator is given,and the goal of reducing consumables,saving cost and optimizing performance is achieved.In the course of the solution,this platform can monitor the iterative process of genetic algorithm in real time,prevent the genetic algorithm from converging prematurely,and enhance the ability of global solving.Developed by this paper belt type radiator design optimization software platform for optimization analysis model of radiator,radiator performance increase obviously,and also consistent with the theoretical checking results of design optimization software platform,and proved in this paper,the development of radiator design optimization software platform can be used for the design and development of new belt type radiator and existing belt type radiator heat transfer performance check,for the design of the duct tape type radiator optimization provides a good platform.
