Rubber asphalt pavement because of its many advantages and is widely used,but the rubber asphalt construction also brought more pollution,for example,the construction temperature,time has strict requirements,the construction of the high temperature will be released because of the release of rubber more Toxic and irritating gas,the road after the compaction is easy to rebound affect the water stability of the road,in low temperature or rain weather is not suitable for construction;due to rubber flammable,high temperature fire rubber asphalt is more dangerous than ordinary asphalt.In this paper,different kinds of diatomaceous earth will be used to modify the rubber asphalt mixture,and the variation law is studied from three aspects: road performance,sound absorption and noise reduction performance,flame retardant performance and its toxic and fog release.Since the diatomaceous earth content is recommended in many literatures ranging from 14% to 16%,the test will use the rut,low temperature bending,freeze-thaw splitting test method to determine the optimum diatomite content.The sound absorption coefficient of the different diatomite content and the thickness of the test specimen is tested by the wave tube test.The flame retardant test is mainly used to test the ignite of the specimen with different diatomite content by the cone calorimeter test Time,heat release rate,total amount of smoke,CO,CO2 yield and other related flame retardant parameters.In this paper,the parameters such as the dynamic stability of high temperature performance,the bending strength of low temperature performance,bending strain,stiffness modulus and splitting strength of water stability are analyzed.According to the specific changes of road performance,A reasonable amount of diatomite.Secondly,the sound absorption coefficient of the mixture under different conditions is analyzed,and the variation rules and influencing factors are summarized according to the different conditions such as thickness and diatomite content.The reasonable diatomite content is given.Finally,the flame retardant parameters,such as the time of ignition,the heat release rate and the total smoke and so on,were analyzed and summarized.
