Research On Media Architecture Based On Urban Catalyst Theory

With the progress of China’s urbanization and the growth of night economy,more and more media architectures come into the cities.But media architecture always be considered to city screen and a apart of vanity projects.In order to find the orientation,the significance and the development direction of media architecture,I studied many theories about architecture and city.Considering the current situation of urban development in China,Urban Catalysts theory has great guiding significance to the development of Chinese cities.Therefore,we study the Urban Catalysts theory and its related information.After a lot of case analysis,I try to summarize the characteristics and operation principles of media architecture.Then,I try to re-examine media architecture from the perspective of urban catalyst theory,and study the catalyses of media architecture in cities and the connection between media architecture and urban development.This paper is based on the research of Urban Catalysts theory,and demonstrate its adaptability to the development of China cities.Then it try to summarize the peculiarity and action principle about urban catalysts,and find the possibility that media architecture turn into urban catalysts.Through a large number of case analysis,it is found that excellent media architectures can indeed be benign urban catalysts,which has a positive impact on urban development.By studying the interaction between city and catalyses,we can learn about how the city’s comprehensive factors affect media architecture,and the influence of the media architecture for urban environmental.Summarize the expression and operation mode of media architecture catalysis in urban environment.It is hoped that the research on Urban Catalysts theory will find out the tactic and more possibilities of the development of media architecture,which can apply to the graduation design.
