| Buildings isolated users from outer environment, but keep connection with it at the same time. The object and method of connection were enriched by the innovation of technology:from connected nature with simple window to connected outer environment with air conditioners and connected virtual world with network device. This paper start from the interactive relationship between "human, building and technology", raise the concept of "media of connection" as a clue, to review evolution of architecture in history, and discuss new relationship between building and human or environment under the influence of media technology and equipment."Media of connection" often performed as "image interface" and "physical opening". When these two combined as one component in buildings, it makes "Media of connection" become one of the crucial parts of it. Such as stained glass window in Gothic Cathedral, one of the key points of religious atmosphere. Afterwards, from glass window to air conditioner, the new "media of connection" promoted by technology become the essential component of building.Alone with the advance of digital technology, media technology and equipment act as "media of connection" in information age. Apart from present as simple equipment, they also played as protagonist in buildings, further more turned the whole building into "media of connection" and cause the appearance of "Media Architecture".
