Research On Utilization Reality And Space Design Of Rehabilitation-typed Facilities For The Aged

In the social background of the rapid development of aging,the number of disabled elderly people is increasing,and many people are disabled due to illness and survive with illness,which greatly reduces the quality of life of the elderly.To some extent,Rehabilitation can help the elderly recover from physical impairments caused by the disease or slow the decline of physical functions,so that the elderly can have the opportunity to return to family life.At the same time,the state has formulated corresponding policies to support the pension institutions to apply for the establishment of rehabilitation hospitals,or to rebuild some public hospitals as rehabilitation facilities for the elderly.At present,the per capita medical resources are relatively scarce,and the main medical treatment tasks of most medical facilities are only the treatment of diseases,and they are rarely able to provide long-term care services to patients.After escaping the dangerous period,accompanied by some physical and mental dysfunction,the patient enters the pension institutions or goes home,while the pension institutions and family do not have the ability to follow-up medical and rehabilitation services.Therefore,it is imperative to conduct research on professional pension facilities that can provide specialized rehabilitation services and long-term care services.This article selected the rehabilitation and treatment space of the three existing rehabilitation facilities in Beijing as the main research object.Draw the building plan through field mapping.Through interviews,I have learned about the basic construction and personnel composition.Through the combination of observation and interviewing methods,I tracked patients with different types of diseases in inpatient departments and nursing homes,and investigated the types,numbers,and characteristics of the use of the various types of rehabilitation rooms,and investigated the size,frequency,usage,and space requirements of each rehabilitation training apparatus.Finally,the paper analyzes and summarizes the appropriate functional configurations,spatial relationships and scales of rehabilitation treatment rooms in rehabilitation-type aged care facilities and provides a basis for their rational design.
