Research On The Renovation And Optimization Existing Community For The Aged In Changchun City

The aging problem in China is becoming increasingly serious,which has become a consensus among all sectors of society.The problem of old-age support for the elderly is even more deeply concerned.How to improve the status quo of elderly care,especially to improve the living environment of the elderly has become imminent.In 2017,China’s 13 th five-year plan for the development of aging and the construction of the pension system has clearly put forward to promote the construction of the elderly residential environment.Since the 1980 s,a large number of traditional settlements have been built in China.With the development of the social economy,these settlements have encountered situations that do not meet the needs of the elderly.This article takes Changchun City as an example to study the residential areas constructed in the 1980 s and 1990 s as the key targets.First of all,through summarizing relevant research and practical experiences at home and abroad,the research framework of this paper is determined.The relevant theoretical and practical examples of suitable aging studies and the characteristics of residential needs of the elderly provide the theoretical basis for the next phase of research.Secondly,field surveys and questionnaires were used to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the status quo of the existing settlements in Changchun City and the situation of the elderly population.A comparative study was conducted on the status quo of the residential environment and the needs of the elderly,and the status of existing settlements was summarized.Contradictions with the needs of the elderly.Finally,the principle of appropriate retrofitting and optimization of residential areas is proposed.Formulated the goals of transformation and optimization to create a physical environment,a spiritual environment,and diversified old-age support.And appropriate ageing optimization strategies are adopted for multi-level construction and gradual development of elderly service facilities,barrier-free access in residential areas,intensive use of residential interior functional spaces,and smart home care services.The appropriate ageing transformation plan for the residential area,the building level and the residential unit level was obtained.It is hoped that the study in this paper can serve as a reference for the adaptation of aging in existing residential areas in Changchun,and promote the improvement of the living environment for oldage housing in existing settlements.
