With the development of automobile engineering technology,material forming and production technology in recent years,the automobile styling style has entered a diversified era.At the same time,the rapid development of new energy technology and artificial intelligence has brought more possibilities to the automobile modeling of the new era and provided an opportunity for the formation of new automobile styling styles.Of course,the advantage also has the disadvantage,the people's aesthetic demand of the constant change to the automobile modeling aesthetic request higher request,thus also increases the designer's challenge.How to accurately grasp the style of car styling,how the shapes of different car styling styles have characteristics,is a theoretical and practical problem to be solved urgently.Based on the characteristics of automobile modeling surface light as the research object,research and analysis from the perspective of automobile modeling style features the properties of the surface smooth and meaning,build a theoretical model,and then put forward the design idea and design methodology,both theoretical and practical significance.First of all,based on the theory of automobile modeling style,expounds its basic concept,according to its development course analysis of factors affecting automobile modeling style changes,is divided into external technology and humanities factors and inner factors shape surface characteristics.Of automobile modeling characteristics described the meaning and classification and by studying the automobile modeling by two-dimensional into three-dimensional digital process to obtain "modelling element",and then according to the characteristics of the model elements to deconstruction,the characteristics of the surface for the study of automobile modeling style and light properties provides the basis.Then,through the formation principle of light and shadow,the factors affecting the light and shadow,the aesthetic of light and shadow are analyzed to analyze the light and shadow properties of the feature.This paper mainly analyzes the influence of the shape elements and the surface-plane space relationship.Through the extraction and analysis of the modeling elements of the target model,the four types of styles of hard style,carving style,sharp style and round style are obtained.In turn study of fractal surface features of all kinds of style,each style can be obtained and the corresponding shape of surface features and the profile shows the characteristics of light and shadow,thus for automobile shape modelling style oriented surface shading,provides the theory basis for design.Then,by studying the corresponding light and shadow characteristics of each style,the relationship between them is analyzed,and a collection of shapes of automobile modeling style is concluded.At the same time,combined with the development of car styling,the relationship between styles and historical modeling styles is analyzed.Based on the evolution law of the shape features of the classic models,the development trend of automobile styling is put forward,and the design method of the car shape with the shape style is obtained.Through design case,the sharp style into the modelling design,target users to design the modelling of corresponding solutions,observers were obtained through the semantic differential method of cognition,the result of the modelling style oriented is proved by practice preliminary car shape surface light design method is feasible,and the reliability of the theory.This paper constructs the modelling style oriented car surface design method of light and shadow,and put forward the future trend of the development of automobile modeling style,of automobile modeling design has an important theoretical guiding significance.
