Design And Research On Korean-style Residential Houses In Tumen River Valley From The Perspective Of Localization

The national culture is the product of the baptism of the years,but it should not be separated from the contemporary culture.As one of the carriers of the traditional culture,the folk house should be paid more attention.The rapid development of economy has promoted the change of rural production and life style,and also changed the form of residence of farmers,and promoted the emergence and creation of new style houses.In the Korean villages with regional color holding and distinctive ethnic characteristics,the design of the new Korean folk houses should not only meet the various functional needs of different lifestyles,but also embody the localization and national characteristics of the architecture.In order to create a good human settlement environment,it has become an important problem faced by architects in rural construction.This article is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the background,purpose,significance and research status of the research.The second part introduces the relevant concepts in this paper.It expounds the history and distribution characteristics of the Korean nationality,summarizes the origin and development of the Korean folk house,and provides detailed information for the study of the characteristics of the DPRK people's living behavior.The third part selects four typical villages in the Tumen River Basin as the representative to carry on the field investigation.In the four dimensions of courtyard space,plane composition,facade form and residence,the characteristics of the traditional Korean folk house in the Tumen River Basin are summed up as the breakthrough point for the reform and design of the new DPRK folk house.Finally,through a variety of ways of visiting and issuing questionnaires on the ground,the design principles are put forward and reformed and designed for the small(60),the middle(80),and the large(100)traditional houses.The purpose is to change the monotonous living space of the local people,and construct a new Korean style residence that meets the needs of the present and future development.
