Population aging is a common worldwide problem facing today's society,our country from the late 1990 s,the aging society gradually,the topic of old people began to get the common concern of the whole society.At the same time,with the development of economy,the quality and standard of life of the elderly have been greatly improved,and the concept of life has also been greatly changed.However,in countries around the world,the development of the elderly industry has been stagnant,not only in the service industry to the product system,has been a backward and neglected part.Outdoor sports in the 1980 s,meanwhile,introduced from the west of China's emerging movement forms,in the decades of rapid economic development in our country,the continuous extension of its type,form and development,has become a social layers,including the elderly,people work,study of indispensable leisure way of life.In this paper,under the background of an aging society and the changing attitudes of the elderly life under the premise of outdoor sports prevail,to the elderly outdoor sports products as the main body in the design,through the study of psychological,physiological characteristics and motor function in the elderly,to understand the characteristics of the elderly and the movement and the appeal of sports products;At the same time,through the study and analysis of the development history,characteristics,content and classification of outdoor sports,understand the basic situation of outdoor sports and outdoor sports products.Combination of questionnaire investigation and the analysis of the existing products in the elderly,contrast,a comprehensive understanding of the elderly health,participate in outdoor sports,outdoor sports products,as well as the current elderly outdoor sports product flaw and the insufficiency,proposed to meet the actual status of the elderly outdoor sports product design principles,design elements and the direction of innovative research,provide resources for the similar product design in the future.In the design practice,combined with the old people often participating in mountaineering,mountaineering,hiking frequently used sticks as the main design,improved design a alpenstock in the elderly,satisfy the elderly to products used in the mountaineering activities of other requirements of safe,comfortable,easy to operate.
