Research On Data Conversion And Storage Technology Of Hull Structure Model

The practical application of 3-dimensional designing software in shipbuilding field has contributed much to improvement in efficiency of design and manufacture of ships,as well as cut-down in building period.However,there is no standard among a great category of software,so the transformation of marine products among which therefore gets hindered.Therefore,TRIBON and CATIA,used commonly in shipbuilding design,were discussed in this paper that mutual interaction about ship structure model between TRIBON and CATIA shall be completed through the construction of interaction interface among transformation system of model information,medium document AP218 cataloged under Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data(STEP),and CATIA.The main research work is carried out as follows.1)Data organization structure of ship model in TRIBON was analyzed,and database storage structure,specialized storage database of ship model was created upon relationship database in ORACLE,and extraction with storage database of ship model in TRIBON was then developed through COM-Object,a way combined with key words.2)Fundamental contents of STEP standard and AP218 protocol were analyzed,especially data structural analysis in STEP medium document.Specifically,generation principle,head segment,and method to write information in data segment were researched,in order to develop model data transformation system upon AP218 protocol.3)Fundamental structure of head segment and data organization structure of data segment in medium document were summarized and literal structure about information in data segment got improved,and information analysis module of STEP medium document were developed as per cutting extraction and segmenting treatment of information in data segment.4)Method of description about product data and system development in CATIA were analyzed;method of design about technical spare part and product in Automation API were researched,and then interaction interface between medium document AP218 and CATIA were developed,upon the combination about Automation API technology and analysis module of STEP medium document.On the construction basis of extraction with storage system for ship model,data transformation system of ship model upon AP218 protocol and interaction interface between AP218 medium document and CATIA,interaction of model data between AP218 and CATIA was achieved within AP218 medium document,directing to exemplify validity of interaction system.
