Research On Data Extraction And Transformation Technology Of CATIA Hull Model

In the process of ship design and production,ship three-dimensional modeling software has become an important tool.Its application has greatly developed the level of ship designing and manufacturing,and it reduced the labor cost and reduced the time-consuming production of ships.However,there are many kinds of shipbuilding 3D design software on the market today,and most of them are self-contained systems.There is no uniform standard for product files of 3D software,which makes it difficult for ship products to exchange data between heterogeneous 3D design softwares.STEP standard as a neutral file storage format independent of any CAX system can effectively solve the problem of data sharing and integration in heterogeneous systems.In this paper,CATIA system hull structural model and STEP neutral file conversion problem as the research object,the CATIA system model and data information system analysis,and in-depth study of the STEP standard and ship application protocol AP218,for CATIA ship structural model design and development of STEP Neutral file conversion system.This article mainly carried on the following research work:1)Based on the analysis of CATIA ship structural design module and system data storage structure,and the analysis and comparison of CATIA secondary development methods,this paper designs and develops the CATIA ship structural model data extraction module based on CATIA CAA,In the data contained in the classification of extraction.2)Based on the relational database technology,a dedicated database of hull model data information storage is established in the ORACLE database,and the extracted data of the hull model of the CATIA system are arranged and stored.Combined with CATIA model data extraction module,the CATIA system hull model data extraction and storage system was developed.3)In-depth study of STEP data exchange standards and ship structure application protocol AP218 main content.This paper analyzes the architecture of STEP standard,the data structure of model transformation neutral data,the formal modeling language EXPRESS language and the method of mapping it to STEP neutral document.Combining the data planning model of AP218 protocol,model structure and ship STEP file commonlyused entity description,to lay the foundation for the development of data neutral file conversion system.4)Through the use of ROSE library and STEP standard integrated development environment,STEP AP218 hull model data conversion system is established according to STEP neutral document generation principle and data segment writing method.Taking CATIA hull model as an example,the model data conversion function is realized.The STEP neutral file generated by it is tested consistently to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the conversion system.
