Study On Generation Strategy And Design Method Of Contemporary Structural Skin

With the change of contemporary aesthetic concept and the progress of technology,in the new semantic environment,the relationship between building structure and skin presents a state which is unified with each other again called structural skin.Structural skin has aroused widespread concern in the world of architecture and a large number of applications in architectural design practice.From the perspective of generating logic and design methods,the exploration of the law behind the form of structural skin buildings has certain theoretical value and practical significance.First of all,this paper takes the structural skin buildings as the research object,which take realizing the design intention of skin as the main purpose and have been produced under certain design logic,takes the structure generating logic as the entry point of the research,combs the evolution and the technology association of the structure and skin during the historical development of architecture.Also,this paper analyzes the design method and structure logic under the integration phenomenon of traditional structure and skin,and discusses the development context of structural skin by contrasting the evolution of structural skin design brought by digital technology.Then,from the structural system which the structural skin relies on,the paper discusses the method constituting the structural form,and studies the thinking logic and strategy of the structural form reconstruction from three aspects: material,component and system.After that,the paper studies the structural skin design method from the view of generating logic,and makes a general research on the related cases from the four aspects of grid pattern,generatrix generation,algorithm generation and bionic structure,reveals the deeper construction and thinking logic behind the representation,trying to put forward the corresponding design strategy.Finally,from the practice of the cooperation between the structure engineer and the architecture designer,the paper studies the method of harmonizing the building form and the structure design,paying attention to its inspiration to the architectural design method innovation,and hoping to be able to give lessons to the contemporary architectural design practice.In this paper,I try to break the confinement of the traditional thinking mode of structure selection,emphasize the combination of structure design and architecture design,dig deep into the internal generation logic and design method of structural skin design,and explore the possibility of architectural design innovation,which can provide some reference for future practice of architecture design.
