The popularity of room air conditioners in the modern life of the residents has been increasing year by year,and the proportion of the energy consumption of the room air conditioner in the social electricity consumption is also increasing.Energy-efficient air conditioner can reduce energy consumption to some extent,but at the same time it will also increase the purchase cost.Currently,the price of an air conditioner with different energy efficiency level differs by one thousand or two thousand yuan,and it is hard to recover the spread cost simply by saving the electricity fare.For most consumers,the total cost of an air conditioner in the lifespan is the top concern.Therefore,it is sometimes not the most desirable option to utilize the high performance as the optimization goal.A room air conditioner with minimum life cycle cost is the most popular consumer products.In this thesis,the appropriate design parameters were selected according to the code for design of an air conditioner,and then the design and calculation of the air conditioner is presented.Under the same rated cooling load,the air conditioner has different structural sizes under different design parameters,so the initial investment required by the manufacturer is different.Meanwhile,each room air conditioner is not always operated under rated operating conditions.When the temperature and wind speed change,the performance parameters of the air conditioning system will also change.By establishing the simulation model of an air conditioning system,the variation relation of the air conditioner cooling capacity,heating capacity,evaporation and condensation temperatures,operating power,electronic expansion valve opening and other parameters with the outdoor temperature and wind speed are discussed.The minimum life cycle cost is taken as the optimization goal in this thesis.The life cycle cost includes the initial investment and operation cost.The initial investment is determined by the structure size of the room air conditioner,and the operation cost is determined by the operation energy consumption of the room air conditioner.The innovations are as follows:1)The concept of life cycle cost is introduced without limitation to cost pricing;2)The new type refrigerant R410A and small diameter pipe are used to design the whole air conditioning system;3)Various load conditions are considered and not just to rated load condition when performing energy consumption calculation.It would will further accurately calculate the life cycle cost.Then,130 room air conditioners with different structural parameters were designed.The minimum life cycle cost among the 130 room air conditioners is 31123 yuan.At this point,the rated evaporation and condensing temperatures of the corresponding room air conditioner are 9 ? and 50 ? respectively.The heat exchange areas of outdoor and indoor heat exchanger are 5.88m2 and 8.92m2 respectively.This study provides some parameters and theoretical basis for the optimization design and cost analysis of air conditioner.
