The Study On The Spatial Pattern Evolution Of Suzhou Ganjiang Road In The Recent 30 Years

Suzhou is a famous historical and culture city with a profound culture,it is characterized by the doubt chessbound type in ancient city's area,where the walking and boating passage is parallel and river is adjacent to street.The street space continues the pattern for thousands of years.Ganjiang road as the most important living channel on the east and west axis of the ancient city,and it connects the ancient city with the high-tech zone and the industrial park,also it plays an important role in continuing the scape and texture of the ancient city's protection and update process.It greatly reflects the city scape of Suzhou in recent years,and also is a cultural corridor to protect and inherit the historical context of the ancient city.The paper chooses the evolution of street space as the research object,and the time of the research range from 1986 to 2016.The study begins with the history of Ganjiang road space,and then discusses the process and achievement of the two mass redevelopments from October 1992 to September 1994 and December 2007 to April2012.Then analyse and evaluate the spatial function,spatial structure,spatial form,spatial entity element of street spatial pattern,and summarize the current situation question and influencing factor of Ganjiang road spatial pattern in the approach of fielding research,siting mapping and taking questionnaire.At last,I will take the organic renewal theory as the guiding ideology to analysis and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the pattern of street spatial pattern,and then put forward some appropriate solutions to guiding the future construction of Ganjiang road on my own views,I hope it can be referenced in the evolution and renewal of the other ancient city street spatial pattern.
