A Research On The Influence Of Megastructure On The Design Strategy Of Contemporary High-Level Complex

This paper is the research mainly about the influence of theory and content about megastructure on the design strategy of high-level complex.First of all,the paper introduces the theory and content of megastructure,including:Plan Obus projected for Algiers designed by Le Corbusier in 1930,the representative organizations in the movement of Megastructure existing during the time from the late fifties to the mid-seventies(Team X,Metabolism,Archigram),the "bigness" theory of Rem Koolhaas and the "megaform" theory of Kenneth Flampton,both of two are affected by the movement of Megastructure.In addition,this paper analysis the theory and content of megastructure said above through four clues,including:from object building to mobile building,from stationary building to dynamic building,from singularity to "bigness" and multiplicity,and the combination of verticality and horizontal.Through this way,we get the strategies in the designing of the high-level complex which are proved by real examples.The strategy the paper gets involves from formal operation to the settings of open space between the architecture itself and the city.Finally,the paper tells about the designing process of the project named the Innovation Center of Commerce of Chamber which is located in Shougang district in beijng.During the process,some of the strategies got above are practiced in this project,which can bring some revelation to the follow-up practice.
