Study On Spatial Form Of Zhongjie Commercial Block In Shenyang Based On Space Syntax

Zhongjie commercial block has been important commercial and cultural center of Shenyang from earliest times to the present day,and has witnessed the construction and renewal of Shenyang in the history of 380 years,so the block always plays an important role in the process of city development.The internal space of Zhongjie commercial block has changed with the development of Shenyang,at the same time a series of problems appeared,so these problems should be solved to promote the development of commercial block.The article takes a study on Shenyang Zhongjie commercial block based on the theory of space syntax,and uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to analysis the commercial block space to find out the influence to the development of commercial district interior space form and space pattern of blocks,then finds the problems of block space,and puts forward the improvement suggestions and development strategies.Firstly,coordinating the development process of Zhongjie commercial block to understand development of block in different historical stages for later analysis.Next,choosing the four representative historical period,the years 1927,1946,1989 and 2016,to carry on the research,and combines with the road axis analysis method in space syntax theory to analysis the commercial block space,taking a vertical comparison to the development of block.It is found that the well shaped spatial structure of commercial block is always in a stable state in the history of city development to be conducive to the development of the block.Then,analysising present situation of the block space combined with the visual analysis method and robot agent analysis method in theory of space syntax detailedly.Then analysising the characteristic of block space and the regular pattern of social activities through the investigation of commercial block,to the representative of Zhongjie pedestrian street in the block,and also found some problems existing of internal space in the block.Finally,puts forward the optimization strategy combining with problems analysised to promote the sustainable development of the commercial block.
