High-voltage energy storage capacitors provide advantages of high energy density,easy-shaping,high speed charging,robustness and simple maintanence,etc.This device is defined as a key project by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of our country.The development speed of this new type of capacitor and its market shares is very slow for the shortage and poor performance of capacitance test device in domestic and high price of the imported equipment.Meanwhile,technology of life test in frequency of pulse capacitor is not available for domestic factories and some research and development institutions arbitrarily lower the test standard,hence limiting the device test.This test platform is exactly designed for solving the problem of high-voltage energy storage capacitor testing.The test platform of high voltage energy storage capacitor designed in this paper can be used to carry out repeated charging and discharging tests at different voltages and frequencies under different capacity of energy storage capacitors,and can accurately measure transient large current and test frequency.This design uses the constant current charging method and FPGA to reduce the size of the core circuit board and enhance the reliability of the system.The test platform adopts modular design with relative independentability of each module to help the test platform control system upgrade and rebuild by product’s specifications.The test platform can realize 5000 times quality test experiment of Voltage storage capacitance charging voltage 8kV,discharging current 8kA,8-10 s each time.It can also realize the 1.5 times the working voltage of High-voltage energy storage capacitor for 1 min compression experiment.And at the same time this platform can realize the rapid customization of all kinds of pulse capacitor product due to the special needs of enterprises,it will also improve the grade of the military-to-civilian pulse capacitor technology in domestic and promote national industry revitalization.The test platform has been put into use in a capacitor production plant and has been used well.
