The Research On The Emotional Design Of Polar Research Vessel Interior Decoration

With the rapid development of world economy and international trade increasingly frequent,shipping industry has entered a new period of development.The surging ship industry is promoting designing competence of ship cabin environment,especially in the extreme climate of polar research vessel of class,how to better to create a comfortable accommodation environment for the crew to improve the working and living conditions and to adjust of the mood of the crew,as a new focus of research within the present stage of vessel design.Based on the polar research vessel as the research object,discussion will be introduced to the theory of emotional design in the design of ship built in,from the perspective of emotional experience to meet the emotional needs of the crew on the cabin environment,trying to establish a between the crew and cabin environment harmonious relation of humanistic care,thus providing an alternative notion for further designing.First,the concepts and effects of emotion are discussed and,seeking relations between emotion and cabin space from cognitive,perceptive and associative aspects.The Emotional Design theory by Donald Normal is used as framework for analyzing manifesting aspects of emotional design in cabin space,declaring the coming application of emotional design theory into ship cabin decoration design.Second,design contents of ship cabin environment are summarized from instinct,behavior,reflection perspectives based on aesthetics,environmental psychology and ergonomics.Put forward and analyzed cabin built in the instinct of the emotional design,behavior,and reflect on three levels of elements,to provide theoretical support for later cabin design.Third,the designing procedure of ship cabin environment with applications of emotional design theory is proposed,based on which it is proposed the survey of emotional design of research vessel cabin in order to acquire emotional needs of crew member;it is proposed the design of instinct aspect of color,lighting,material and sound environment;it is suggested the design of behavior aspect regarding space layout design,furniture design,accessory appliance,and layout selection;it is advised the design of reflection aspect of culture,theme,intelligence optimization,all that provide reference for emotional design of ship cabin.Eventually,the double-bed cabin and meeting cabin of a certain polar research vessel are taken as typical voyage ship resting cabin and working cabin subjects,on the basis of vessel cabin built in emotional design process,combining with the cabin emotional design analysis result of questionnaire.The presentation is also completed.And from the point of view of an emotional experience design to meet the emotional needs...
