Since the 21 st century,under the background of he national economy fast development and the world's economic recovery,the development of China's real estate and Major public infrastructure investment,both of which have made the social demand for steel in a straight line rise,promoted the capacity and efficiency of the China iron and steel metallurgy industry,also created opportunities for the prosperity of China's steel industry development.While since 2008,With the influence of global financial crisis,a good time to adjust production capacity,optimize the industry structure for iron and steel metallurgy industry have been disturbed by market of excessive prosperity.It now become the source of excess production capacity,high inventory.Especially since 2011,the capacity expansion of steel has obviously grow faster than steel demand,combined with the subprime crisis and rising prices of raw materials and a fall in demand for steel,China's iron and steel metallurgy industry into the "winter".In this context,the management work in the enterprise is in the condition of thenegative added value completely and Industry profits have fell to industry to its lowest level for a time.In order to reverse the business losses,iron and steel metallurgy industry not only accelerate the transformation,upgrading and structural optimization adjustment,most of them also put the view on the enterprise internal management with the hope that through the improvement of management level and the innovation of management way,they can reduce the enterprise's internal cost and consumption.This paper focuses on the project schedule management of the iron and steel metallurgy enterprise,which is the Concentrated reflection of the enterprise management level and management style.This paper,based on the project schedule management related theory,views H steel tube company as instance to analyze the project schedule management problems in H steel tube company.And it takes steelmaking dust removal system transformation project of H company as sample,with the purpose of ensuring the renovation project quantity and completed in time by building the project management organization structure,doing the WBS work structure decomposition,preparing the schedule and Implementing the schedule control or optimization based on the critical chain.All these have played a significant effect on the optimal allocation of resources and to the promotion of overall management efficiency.What is more,this schedule management practice based on the critical chain is a great attempt for H steel tube company tosolve existing schedule management problem.Also,it can have a great guiding significance and reference to the following project schedule management.
