Research On The Application Of 6S Management Method On ZY's Constructional Site

As long been viewed as the most essential part of construction corporations,construction sites are where the profits mainly generate for a company,and the management system plays an important rule to run the construction sites function smoothly and efficiently.Nowadays,there still exit plenty of problems about field management that This paper can't afford to be neglected because of the severe consequences they may cause,such us: poor working conditions,pessimistic working attitude of the management staff and most importantly,potential security issues.Theoretical progresses have been made in Industrial Engineering realm owing to the scientific endeavors.The influences of these researches and findings made in recent year have already expanded to relevant area and made some beneficial advancement to some degree.Among all,6S management method is one of the most elementary and efficient theory applied by ZY company.This paper checked and analyzed this method closely based on observation in one of ZY's constructional site,then made a possible improvement proposal in the hope of improving construction environment.ZY,an iron mine tunnel excavation enterprise,adopts the overall contract mode to execute its civil engineering projects.The construction site can reflect the management level of both the contractor and the construction company,thus being inevitably highly valued.Under current economical situation,it is necessary to improve the management level by applying practical and systematical methods aimed to create higher profits with less costs.After carefully field investigation,This paper analyzed some of the main problems of management in ZY's mine tunnel excavation project in this paper,then summarized some characteristics of the managing items they carried on the site.In the following chapter,This paper take a hack at framing a better method to improve the field management based on certain principles and procedures.The purpose of the proposal is to make a better and safer construction environment,eliminate the phenomenon of wasting,and ultimately improve the quality of construction.
