In modern warfare, air to air missile is an important guarantee for the mastery of the air, whose core component to achieve efficient damage is the fuze.Air to air missile proximity fuze consists of the proximity detection and control device(radio detection or laser detection)with the distance sharp cut-off properties, safety control system, energy system, touch fried control device and an explosion sequence.Radio proximity detection device extracts the information of target distance, rendezvous attitude and flight speed according to the radio target echo, and ultimately realizes the accurate burst point judgment and the best damage.Focusing on the need of efficient damage and the adaption to the complex electromagnetic combat environment for air to air missile, this paper introduces the research trends at home and abroad, and summarizes the principle of detection system and the development history of air to air missile fuze.High power pulsed radio detection system used in the third and fourth generation of air to air missile has the characteristics of strong anti-jamming capability. At first, the composition and the implement method are analyzed in this paper. The model of electromagnetic scattering for typical target RCS and the model of intersection between target and missile are established. The matching efficiency between the fuze and the warhead is analyzed in different conditions, for example, different intersection speed, different azimuth, different target. The design specifications are pretended, for example, the antenna pattern for reception and emission, insulation. The initiation strategy is developed according to the optimal burst angle and ignition delay obtained by the mathematical statistical method combining with the scattering angle and scattering speed of the warhead of discrete shaft. The research of antenna technology for high power pulsed fuze is developed. The application of Stevenson conductivity normalized design method for waveguide slot in compression waveguide is analyzed. The slot antenna for reception and emission based on compression waveguide is designed. The angle-view circumferential detection is ensured by the design layout of dual-reception and dual-emission.The emission antenna is a single-feed resonant waveguide slot antenna. The feed supply of two emission antenna is equal-power by the mode of waveguide wedge. The reception antenna is radio frequency direct-demodulation resonant waveguide slot antenna. The cavity has the function of cavity filter and demodulation. The performance of the filter is improved through the optimization design of inductive pin distribution in filter cavity.Via the adjusted slot layout using Taylor comprehensive arrangement, the antenna design of low side lobe is realized, and the matching efficiency between the fuze and the warhead is improved, and the insulation between reception and emission is improved. The antenna for reception and emission meets the needs of design requirements through lab test.On the basis of this, the all-digital virtual prototype is established.Through the emulation proof and the optimization of design parameters, the prototype of air to air missile fuze with high power pulsed detection system is formed. At last, the paper analyzes the method for improving the capability of anti-jamming and adaptation for complex electromagnetic environment in this detection system. The prototype is verified through the anti-jamming test and the field dynamic test.It is proved that the ability of controlling the burst point is in line with expectations, and the design of the system and the antenna is effective. The research provides strong technical support for the application of the fuze with high power pulsed detection system in subsequent models of air to air missile.
