Investigation On The Project Management Maturity Model Of Decoration Engineering

Project management maturity model is a hot research topic in the field of project management,but the theory and application of project management maturity model about decoration engineering has not been deeply studied.As an actual promising industry in 21 st century,there are many problems in decoration engineering.The project management maturity model can give insight into advantages and disadvantages of decoration engineering.So that it can provide improvement plan for company and promote the project management level of decoration engineering.It has an important influence on construction industry.Firstly,the theory and application of project maturity model are analyzed in detail.The result shows that the project maturity model has not been applied to the decoration engineering.Based on the comparative analysis of existing project maturity model,the feasibility applying project maturity model into decoration engineering application was discussed in detail.With a detailed discussion of Analysis on the characteristics of decoration engineering,It can be concluded that the project maturity model can be used to describe the construction process of decoration engineering.The characteristics of decoration engineering during the implementation process was taken into consideration,Compared with the characteristics of general project,A project management maturity model was presented to evaluate the project management of decoration engineering.This model is divided into five grades,and the characteristics of five levels were described in detail.The process area and target of each maturity level of the model were also determined.Then,the specific indicators of each level and the calculated way of weight about indicators were determined in detail.Finally,The lighting renovation on San-shui Le-ping commercial center was taken as an example.The expert consult survey was used to investigate the implementation process of the project in detail.And the analytic hierarchy process was used to analyze the results obtained by expert consult survey.Furthermore,the calculated results was described on the cobweb model eventually.Meanwhile,according to the results,some specific methods were proposed for further improvement.In addition,the correctness and feasibility of project management maturity model on decoration engineering were verified by applying the project management maturity model into the practical project.
