Hot in-place recycling technology is a fast,economical and environmentally friendly asphalt pavement maintenance process in which the heater is a key equipment in the process of in situ thermal regeneration.At present,there are four kinds of heater: flame heater,hot air circulating heater,microwave heater and gas infrared radiant heater.Compared with the first three kinds,the gas infrared radiant heater is not used for long time in asphalt pavement maintenance,but also needs to deepen the understanding of heater structure,infrared spectral matching and heating methods.In view of this background,the gas infrared radiation heater in-depth study,has a certain theoretical and practical significance.Based on the project study on the heat transfer mechanism of asphalt pavement infrared continuous heating process based on spectral analysis supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China?the project study on heat transfer mechanism of series heating methods for asphalt pavement geothermal regeneration supported by the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities,and the project Development and industrialization of high efficiency environmental protection and intelligent regeneration units for Asphalt Pavement supported by Jiangsu AoXin Technology Co.Ltd.On the basis of the mechanism of infrared radiation heating,the heating mechanism of the asphalt pavement with infrared radiation is analyzed.And the infrared radiation spectra of the compositions of asphalt pavement mixture are detected by spectrometer,and the infrared radiation absorption characteristics of each component are analyzed,and the temperature of the radiant source of the heater is determined.Then,based on the combustion mechanism of porous media,the combustion structure,the infrared radiation material and the structure of the premixed chamber were compared and analyzed.The structure of the heater was determined,and the end of the heater was calculated theoretically.The main factors influencing radiation intensity of infrared radiant heater of gas are analyzed and studied,and the heating system and combustion safety control system are designed.Finally,for the convenience of experimental research on the object heater,the asphalt pavement heating simulation test bench and test system are designed.Based on the heating simulation test bench,different distance heating test,heating uniformity test(heater surface uniformity test and asphalt pavement heating uniformity test)and asphalt pavement gap heating simulation test were carried out respectively,and the test data were analyzed.The results show that,based on the infrared absorption characteristics of asphalt pavement mixture,it is appropriate to analyze the asphalt pavement suitable for adopting "non-matching" heating principle,which can realize internal and external heating.According to the experimental phenomena and results,the reasonable heating temperature range of asphalt pavement is 160~180?.The related experiments show that the surface temperature of the radiant source of the object heater presents a phenomenon of high and relatively homogeneous intermediate area,which is mainly caused by unreasonable internal shunt structure in the premixed chamber,which provides a point for further optimizing the heater structure.At the same time,two kinds of intermittent heating methods are compared and analyzed.As the gap between the asphalt pavement temperature is different,the configuration of the unit is very different,and also provides a reference for the configuration of the actual construction heating unit.
