Nowadays,due to micro cracks,surface polishing and other early damages,a large number of highway have already entered maintenance period.Only if take effective measures to deal with early damages in time,can we prevent further damage to the pavement,meanwhile,ensure the road service level and traffic safety.As a kind of preventive maintenance method which can quickly solve the early disease and restore the surface function,micro-surfacing is widely used around the world.But the pavement performance,durability and interlayer bonding strength of micro-surface materials need to be further improved.In order to enhance the preventive effect of micro-surfacing and prolong the service life of the pavement,this paper use waterborne epoxy emulsified asphalt to obtain a kind of micro-surfacing,which has stronger pavement performance,durability and interlayer bonding strength than ordinary micro-surfacing.Analyzed the emulsification mechanism,demulsification mechanism and production process of emulsified asphalt.Compatibility design of emulsified asphalt with cationic emulsifier and organic stabilizer.Analyzed the curing mechanism and modification mechanism of waterborne epoxy resin.Studied the influence of waterborne epoxy resin to by dynamic shear rheological test.Determine the optional range of emulsified asphalt.In this range,the effects of waterborne epoxy resin on the abrasion resistance,rutting resistance and spalling resistance of micro-surfacing were studied.Based on the 6d wet track abrasion test,combine with the freezing and thawing cycle wet track abrasion test,studied the influence of the waterborne epoxy resin and asphalt aggregate ratio to water stability performance of micro-surfacing.Analyzed the change rule of antiskide performance and long-term abrasion resistance by accelerated loading test.Through interlayer direct shear test on the properties of waterborne epoxy resin micro-surfacing binder influence factors are analyzed.Meanwhile,as the above test with the SBR modified emulsified asphalt micro-surface mixture were compared.Finally,the influence factors of construction performance of micro-surfacing mixture are studied.The test results show that with the increase of the content of the waterborne epoxy resin,the emulsified asphalt evaporation residue’s composite shear modulus increases gradually,the phase angle decreases.When the waterborne epoxy resin content between 8%~11% can significantly improve the road performance and durability of the micro-surfacing,and has obvious advantages over the SBR modified emulsified asphalt micro-surface.Compared with SBR modified emulsified asphalt,the waterborne epoxy emulsified asphalt as the adhesive layer material has stronger interlayer bonding strength with lower dosage. |
