In recent years,With rapid improvement of living standards in China,Adobe building appeared a phenomenon of development is very slow,Because Adobe building architectural form old,durability,compression strength and seismic resistance is poor.However,There is a storm of saving resources and energy around the world.The concept of sustainable development has been paid attention by all countries in the world.Each year a large part of the world's energy and resources into the construction of new buildings,Our country construction industry consumes a huge amount of energy and resources.Also the waste of resources and energy is serious.Addition,Saving energy and resources consumption is the key of the contemporary social development due to global energy and resource crises.The concept of sustainable development has been unanimously endorsed by all walks of life.Therefore,Our country attaches great importance to the development of energysaving buildings,Policies unfolding quietly to encourage the development of energy-saving building.So Adobe building return to sight of people.The advantages of adobe building include low resource consumption,high efficiency,simple construction,environment friendly etc.This article adopt the method for modifying earth materials.To achieve the basic requirements of strength for earth building.On this basis,looking for earth materials which is ideal in its thermal properties,The modified earth materials always follow the principle of pollution-free and easy to decompose.According to this principle we take full advantage of the waste,that is straw,In order to improve the thermal properties and strength level of earth materials.Making straw earth brick use the method of putting straw into the raw soil materials at a certain proportion,This project based on related literature and its main method is experimental study.The thermal conductivity of straw-adobe brick is an important traction line for penetrating and connecting article's contents,firstly the article stated to two materials of advantages and feature of straw and earth,and then analyzed and researched measure method and principle of thermal conductivity of common materials,And combine the material properties of straw-adobe brick,We have applied and improved the hot wire method which belong to transient method.In order to measure and analyses thermal conductivity of straw-adobe brick in different density.Concluding its thermal conductivity regular which change with density.Last it analyzed and arranged experimental data,deducted thermal conductivity calculation model of straw-adobebrick under the effects of density in reference of the principle of calculating the resistance value in the circuit,and make straw-adobe brick's application becomes more convenient in practical engineering.And then on the basis of Straw-adobe brick thermal conductivity research,it calculated some important index which measure energy-saving of Straw-adobe materials like specific heat capacity,thermal resistance and coefficient of thermal storage,concluded straw-adobe brick's change regular along with these indexes.And compared three thermal performance of solid clay brick with straw-adobe brick in three thermal performances of specific heat capacity,thermal resistance and heat storage coefficient,concluded that straw-adobe brick is a building material with favorable thermal performance and it has excellent development prospect.
