Study On Landscape Details' Humanistic Design In Yilan,Taiwan

Landscape Detail is defined as a relatively small part in landscape which have independent functions.Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe,who is considered as one of the greatest masters of modern architecture in twentieth Century,once said god exit in details,which points out the importance of detail.Based on preplanning,ecological humanistic landscape concept and strict management,Yilan have created a series of landscape public spaces with high quality,which bring people living in Yilan high quality life.In those landscape public spaces landscape details play important roles.Landscape detail is the object of study,of which this paper focuses on discussing the humanistic design.Four landscape spaces appreciated were selected and explored by the methods of literature review,field research,interviews and summarization.The aim of this paper is to connect landscape detail and humanistic design,and to bring humanity back to design and people back to landscape space.Through theory,investigation to summarization,the structure of this paper is divided into three parts:The second and third chapter constitute the first chapter.This part begins with a summarization of landscape detail concluding definition,constituent elements,characteristics and the theme.Related humanistic theories are followed and the definition,characteristics and meanings of landscape details' humanistic design are summarized,which make a framework of exploring landscape detail humanistic design.Thus the cases study following are provided with theory basis.The fourth chapter equals the second part.This part introduces Yilan's special geographical environment and summarizes the development course of Yilan's landscape by Yilan county magistrates'preplanning and local architect Huang Shengyuan's practice.Next,Yilan's landscape design's humanistic concepts are extracted,which provides the following cases study an appropriate background.Based on background above,more than 10 typical landscape details selected from Luo-dong Sports Park,Tungshan River Water Park,Diu Diu Dang Forest and Jimmy Plaza were explored at the aspect of humanistic design.The fifth chapter equals the third part.Basic principles about how to do the humanistic design of landscape details are summarized and opinions and strategies about usual landscape details' humanistic design are brought forward.
