Research About The Humanistic Place Design Of Modern Urban Landscape

In recent years it's well known that design of landscape comes to play an important role on the modern urban design. However, theory of environment landscape in China drops behind. Lack of the particular analysis of mental function in environment, a number of landscape works only contented the user with the practical function. On the other hand, visual image of landscape was pursued blindly in urban buildings, like as 'city beautiful movement' and 'image project'. As a result, the urban landscape in many cities tend to similar. It's important and essential for us to innovate the theory of landscape. We need pay more attention to the amenity and local color of the environment. In this way, we can deal with the relation between human beings and nature. Besides content of function, humanistic expression must be stressed to create the aesthetic and comfortable place. The paper describes the history of urban landscape and discusses the contents about humanistic place design of modern urban landscape. In the end the author appeals to give emphasis to creating the humanistic place for humanism solicitude that it can realize the harmonious development between nature and human beings.
