Water resources are indispensable to human production and living basic, the space-time distribution of water resources in China was serious and attracted broad attention.Water footprint is on the basis of the virtual water,it linked entity water and virtual water,as well is one of current hot research topics in the field of water resources.Water footprint intensity is a reflection index of water resource utilization efficiency. What's more,it provides a new idea for the evaluation of water resources utilization.By building the water footprint model and water footprint intensity model,we measured the water footprint and the water footprint intensity of China's major provinces in 2005-2015,among them the water footprint including agricultural and animal products water footprint, industrial product water footprint, water pollution footprint, life water footprint and ecological water footprint.Through the calculation of the Gini coefficient and Theil index of water footprint intensity, the total difference of regional water footprint intensity was analyzed, and then China's four major regional water footprint intensity was compared as well as the regional difference cause was explored. The global spatial autocorrelation analysis and local spatial autocorrelation analysis of China's regional water footprint intensity were analyzed based on the exploratory data analysis(ESDA),Moran's I index and Local indicators of Spatial association(LISA).Through analyzing the space effect of the water footprint intensity in China,we could find that the water footprint intensity distribution not only exists in the time continuity, but also has positive spatial autocorrelation. In addition, using the ordinary least squares(OLS)model and spatial lag model(SLM)to measure strength of water footprint impact factor analysis, and comparing the results of two models.Compared with the ordinary least squares regression model, the spatial error model considers the spatial correlation and provides a more comprehensive explanation for water footprint intensity influencing factors.
