With the development of science and technology,people pay more attention to mechanical vibration.In the field of civil,such as automobile industry,ship industry,space industry.Vibration can cause noise,too much noise will impact the riding comfort.While in the military field,with the development of sonar technology,noise level has become an important indicators for measuring weapons operational performance.If we want to reduce the noise,an effective measure is to reduce the vibration.Especially for the underwater vehicle.Through the analysis of vibration transmission,we can locate noise source,and test noise parameters.Through this method to analyze structure and revise again,practical dynamic design,reduce the design cost,improve efficiency and reduce risk.In the late 1980 s,American space industry developed the application of statistical energy analysis software,it uses the latest statistical energy analysis as its core.From the view of energy,using statistical view to analysis the response of large-scale structure dynamic problems can quickly,accurately and effectively simulate the structures` acoustical properties.It gives an effective tool for the analysis structure response in middle and high frequency.The main research content of this paper is divided into the following three aspects.First of all,introduce the basic knowledge of statistical energy analysis in detail,include its birth,the domestic and foreign development,definition and range of application.Then introduce the definition and calculation method of modal density,internal loss factor and coupling loss factor which is the key factor in SEA.The second,using experimental method to solve the loss factor of two vertical coupling slab.Through compare the results between simulation and experiment After simulate the experiment by using AutoSEA2 to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the simulation software.In the end,based on the underwater vehicle experimental data,input the data to the AutoSEA2,simulate after set up the other parameters.Compare with the experiment data after calculate the vibration acceleration level of each point in the vehicle.By this way,we can verify the statistical energy analysis can solve the problem of the dynamic response of underwater vehicle.Then,the noise of this AUV was greatly reduced through the optimization of its tail fairing.The paper systematically proved the strong ability of statistical energy analysis to solve the dynamic response problem of underwater vehicle.It also provides a new method for the engineering design and transformation.
