An Application Study On Rockery Of Modern Landscape Gardening

Due to the time social background of economic condition,the influence of cultural differences,the Chinese modern landscape gardening rockeries application have becoming very different compared with Chinese classical gardens.Chinese gardens' rockery is a different and independent gardening art in the world,the aim of the art is "the original prototype is nature,but better than the nature ".It had made remarkable achievements in history,and had a profound influence on foreign gardens art,but there are lots of problems reflecting in the modern Chinese landscape gardening which can't satisfy people's increasing need of entertainment and Contacting with nature,to develop recreational activities,and other functions.Some foreign developed countries modern Landscape having made a great achievements such as the rock gardens,the abstract landscape.The application of the modern gardens rockeries garden forms to our country has a certain reference value,it can broadened our country modern landscape rockeries design concept,to improve our country landscape rockery function.The thesis in view of the modern garden rockeries application level,combined with China's classical garden's theory,the successful modern landscape cases abroad,to find out the useful concepts and application forms which has guiding significance to Chinese modern landscape gardening rockeries.The thesis first through the literature analysis method to study the Chinese classical gardens' rockeries,Japan "Kare San Sui",the European rock gardens' design concepts and typical cases,rejecting the bad part take the essence,summed up the beneficial enlighte nment for the Chinese modern gardening rockeries.Then in the fourth chapter,the core chapter of the thesis,through literature analysis,case analysis,combined with the status survey of modern gardens,rockery application types,the research of modern landscape gardening rockery' theorists and craftsmen,new materials,new technology respectively in-depth research,and proposed some suggestions aiming at the problems of Chinese modern landscape gardening rockery application.The fifth chapter studied good modern landscape examples in China and abroad which based on the theoretical research results of former chapters,summarized their modern garden rockery application significance to Chinese modern landscape gardening.It analyzed three modern garden rockery design and construction of project of Liao Cheng city w hich the author participated in the sixth chapter,and pointed out the characteristics and deficiencies.The thesis studies concluded that excellent Chinese modern landscape gardening rockeries application cases are all natural imitation,combining with the national characteristics,the service object "admire","tour","rest" function.Modern landscape gardening rockery combined with the application of new materials,new technology,reflecting the era characteristic.But there are also many problems,its are pointed out that only adapt to modern society the pursuit of sustainable development,paying more attention to ecological benefit under the premise of the modern materials and technology and the culture behind the garden rockery art,spirit connotation,and closely combined with the modern people's demand,flexible application to garden rockeries art would be better,can it achieve the purpose of servicing the time.
