| Under the current pattern of construction market,the employers usually occupy greater advantage in the market,which called the buyer's market.Potential difference is formed between the client and the contractor,which causes the injustice of contractors.The justice preference of contractors has been recognized by the academia in engineering management,and Hart holds that justice perception caused different performance effect.Therefore,the paper will carry out a research on the relationship between justice in contract compensation and contractors' performance behavior.The paper mainly includes the following two parts:(1)Building the theoretical model of justice in contract compensation and contractors' performance behaviorIn the process of contract compensation in construction project,the client and the contractor need to adjust the price of adjusting events.The whole process contains cost allocation,program execution,interpersonal and information communication.Therefore,the justice preference of contractors will be refined into the justice ofcontractors in contract compensation in this paper,which contains distributive justice,procedural justice and interactional justice.Based on perfunctory performance and consummate performance proposed by Hart about the effect of reference point and the related research aboutin-role and extra-role behavior,the paper evaluates the performance behavior of contractors from the following aspects: perfunctory performance behavior,consummate performance behavior and opportunistic behavior.By combing the related research about organizational justice-behavioral decision making and justice preference of contractorsin construction project,the paper proposes 12 basic hypotheses of justicein contract compensation and contractors' performance behavior,then builds the theoretical model between them.(2)Verifying the relation hypothesis of justice in contract compensation and contractors' performance behaviorThis paper verifies some hypotheses in the theoretical model of justice in contract compensation and contractors' performance behavior by the analysis of the structural equation model.On this basis,this paper gives some advice to improve contractors' consummate performance behavior and suppress opportunistic behavior.Firstly,in the contract compensation of construction project,the client need to deal with adjusting events carefully,guaranteeing the contractor can obtain reasonable compensation priceas much as possible,thus to improve distributivejustice of contractors in the contract compensation.Secondly,the client should treat the contractors friendly in the process of negotiations,and actively communicate with contractors about the adjusting events. |
