After the soaring development of construction in our country, it gradually transfers from the expansion in large-scale and the number to the improvement in management and quality as well as the optimization of inventory. Green buildings have become a strategic demand of construction in our country, developing from the initial advocacy and then the comprehensive promotion to the compulsory phase. In order to meet the demand of green evaluation for different types of buildings, the green label has begun to develop in the direction of classification and local governments also have issued the evaluation standard for local green buildings and strongly advocated the green innovation of existing buildings which fail to conform to the green standard. Faced with the condition that a large number of commercial buildings in China did not meet the requirements of the green label, and lack research on theory and practice of green buildings, this paper makes a study of the green design and strategy of commercial buildings in China, providing green transformation of such construction as a reference.Through the comparison between the domestic and international commercial buildings in terms of green design and related research of the theory and practice, the author finds commercial buildings in our country have some problems and deficiencies such as low quality of interior space, insufficiency in the maintenance of the interface performance and the poor outdoor environment.Based on above problems, this thesis makes investigations and analysis in order to prove the exist of these problems. To solve above problems, the author respectively puts forward the green strategy of the improvement in interior space of commercial buildings, maintenance in quality of interface performance and advancement and retrofit of the outdoor environment reconstruction, applies to the practical project which author has involved, and proves the feasibility of the strategy. This thesis includes seven chapters. The first chapter of this paper introduces the background, purpose, significance and illustrates research methods, the research object, and framework of this thesis.Through the comparison between the domestic and international commercial buildings in terms of green design and related research of the theory and practice, the second chapter reveals commercial buildings in our country have some problems and deficiencies such as low quality of interior space, insufficiency in the maintenance of the interface performance and the outdoor environment. The exist of these problems have been proved by investigation and analysis. This chapter lays a solid foundation for a strategy which aims to innovate the green design. Based on the problems and shortages, the third chapter to the fifth chapter puts forward the strategy of green reformation and design in commercial buildings. The third chapter of reveals the shortage of interior space in atrium, traffic and the commercial space and then puts forward the corresponding strategies of green reformation and design. The fourth chapter puts forward the corresponding strategies of green reformation and design on the shortage of maintenance interface of the facade style, the facade performance and roof energy saving. The fifth chapter puts forward the corresponding strategies of green reformation and design on the shortage of the space of outdoor environment, the roof space and the side corridor space. The sixth chapter is the application of the strategy in the practical project in order to prove the feasibility of the strategy. The seventh chapter makes a conclusion of the study of this paper, illustrates the value and deficiency of this article, and expects the further study based on this research, providing a better reference and guidance for green transformation of commercial buildings in China.
