The requirement for modern road no longer stays on the need for commuting and pavement durable,but for pursuing comfortability and quality.Double chip seal with rubber particles solves the chip seal peeling off and flushing in using.But,there is a further need to research the performance of vibration and noise reduction and construction technology.Therefore,this paper aims to research vibration and noise reduction performance of double chip seal with rubber particles and construction technology.First,the reasons of noise caused by tyre-pavement,the measures of controlling noise,and the principles of reducing noise on the current low noise pavement are analyzed.Then the materials of the double chip seal with rubber particles is selected and their performance are test.For the vibration reduction performance of double chip seal with rubber particles,the mechanism of vibration and noise reduction is analyzed,and then through the test of tire vertical vibration attenuation,hammer test,the vibration attenuation coefficient of common asphalt concrete,the synchronized crushed stone seal layer,double chip seal,double chip seal with rubber particles(before and after optimization)are test and caompared,the rubber particle size and content on its damping effect are analyzed.The reuslut shows that the vibration reduction performance of adding 16 meshes rubber particles(content 1.5%)of the optimized double chip seal is better.For the noise reduction performance of double chip seal with rubber particles,the paper expounds the current noise test methods on pavement,and discusses its advantages and disadvantages;then by using the method of indoor tire falling test,the noise that produced by asphalt concrete,synchronized crushed stone seal layer,double chip seal,double chip seal with rubber particles(before and after optimization)is test,and the noise reduction performance of double chip seal with rubber particles is analyzed,and the rubber particle size and dosage on its noise reduction effect are also studied.The result shows that the vibration reduction performance of adding 16 meshes rubber particles(content 1.5%)of double chip seal is better.Finally,paved test road,using the method of control through,noise that tests outside and inside the car on several kinds of pavement is tested,verifying that the optimized double chip seal with 16 meshes rubber particles(content 1% ~ 1.5%)plays a better role in reducing noise.Before paving test road,the construction technology is also studied.Through researching temperature of material spreading,rubber particles adding technology,technology of wrapping,mobility of after wrapping,the rolling process,cleaning process,spraying temperature(chip is 140?,the 70# asphalt is 160?,the SBS modified asphalt is 170~180?),rubber particles adding methods(dry mixing method)and wrapped by asphalt dosage(0.7% of the upper chip quality)are verified.And the result shows that with the increase of dosage of rubber particles,after wrapped,the mobility of the chip becomes better,this is helpful to control operation of synchronized crushed stone seal layer construction vehicle and spraying uniformity.Study on rolling process parameters(roller sets,rolling pass,the initial run time and interval between spreading chips)and cleaning process parameters(times,cleaning time,cleaning sequence cleaning).Further study is made in designing the material composition that the chip is diorite,and the control of construction quality and paving effect.By paving test road,some problems are found,and then optimize the material composition and dosage of the double chip seal,to determine its material composition and construction quality control points.
