Under the influence of the information age,the Internet of things has become one of the important development directions,The monitoring system based on Internet of things has developed rapidly.According to the insufficient of compaction of asphalt pavement,which causes the early damage of pavement,short service life and so on,put forward the monitoring system of the compaction degree of asphalt pavement based on the Internet of things.This system consists of acquisition terminal,monitoring center and wireless transmission module.it can realize the monitoring of the compaction process of asphalt pavement,control the compaction in real time,it plays an increasingly important role in road construction.This paper discusses the background and significance of the system design,analyzes the development and present situation of the real-time monitoring of pavement compaction at home and abroad,mades some improvements on the real-time detection system,According to current problems.Firstly,analyze and determine the factors that affect the compaction degree of asphalt pavement,According to the demand of the system.Then,According to the factors and the internal transmission architecture of the Internet of things,study out the general scheme of the system and the subsystem of the system.Finally,use PLC programming to realize singnal conditioning and data processing and use VB,Kingview to establish visual monitoring center,based on Asphalt pavement compaction model,compaction times model and BP neural network model.The asphalt pavement compaction monitoring system based on Internet of things can play an important role in monitoring the compaction process of asphalt pavement.
