In the history of modern design,the development of Chinese architecture has experienced several important periods.1920 s is a period of passive introduction,the western countries tried to open the door to China,they began to establish trade place in Shanghai,Tianjin and other places,the western classical form of architectural style began to form;The 1940 s was belongs to the active period of development,people began to accept foreign culture,the "double track" phenomenon became more prosperous;In 1950 s,the western modernist style reached its peak,Chinese architectural style began to pursue a new national form;In 1950s-1960 s,the design theory reached a climax period,construction technology began to be taken seriously;In the late 1970 s,construction technology got into the upsurge of modernism,criticized the stereotyped form of modernism.In the process of the development of Chinese Architecture,people’s awareness of the protection about historical buildings is weak,the building has not been taken any measures by natural erosion,the government did not set up a variety of provisions of the relevant provisions to protect it.The new generation of designers is filled with blind worship of external culture.Chinese traditional architecture is constantly under the collision of Western Thoughts.Chinese traditional form changed from the original prosperity to the depression,the future of the road is really worrying.This paper puts forward the key problems of the present situation about Chinese Historical Architecture,elaborates the play of the value,it has someformidable contact with the future and past.In the period of the Republic of China,the building is also a turning point in the development of Chinese architecture,and also has a very importantposition in Chongqing.This paper is through the oretical knowledge,researchs and analyzes the characteristics of architectural style about the Republic of China,draws lessons from domestic and international protection and inheritance,investigates the domestic success model deeply,to prepare for the practice of the architectural design of Sha Ci.Part 1:Narrating the Topic origin,the main purpose and content of the research,the status quo and research methods of the protection and inheritance of historic buildings at home and abroad;Part 2:This paper expounds the definition and related concepts of the Republic of China.It was a combination of space layout,architectural form,material and so on.It shows the characteristics of the architecture of the Republic of China,which is historic,local and cultural;Part 3:This paper points out the significance of the Republic of China Building in Chongqing area,which reveals the past history of the people,and has a directive function for the future of the people.Both the form and function of the body presents a variety of high historical value,cultural value and artistic value.Part 4:To understand the historical and cultural background of the architectural style of the Republic of China.This part is divided into four categories: Western Classicism,Chinese traditional form,New National form,Modernism,and focus on the study of various types of plastic arts,materials,color,decorative art.Part 5:Researching on Shanghai,Chengdu area about historic buildings,to investigate two successful cases about how to protect and inherit the historical buildings,analysis methods,and understand the repercussions in society.Part 6:In order to investigate the architectural style of the achievements and research results as the theoretical basis,the practice of architectural design in Sha CI square,pay attention to the relation between the Sha CI square co-ordination with the surrounding environment,architecture and square.Expounding the design process of the way of thinking and methods,how to solve the problem,to achieve the works ultimately.Part 7:Summarizing the research work and the prospect of the follow-up design work.Along with the progress of the society,the culture of architecture is also developing.This development includes not only the continuation of traditional culture,but also the trend of internationalization.The traditional culture absorps and fuses with the modern international,their relationship is the unity of opposites,andcomplement each other,together.Chinese traditional culture needs to absorb and communicate with international culture,in order to optimize the process of the development of architectural culture,to maintain the survival and transmission of its culture.
