In recent years,with the development of offshore wind farm,wind power maintenance ship has become an urgent demand and a research hot spot.Due to the requirements of wind farm and the analysis of catamaran characteristics,in this paper we select catamaran as wind power maintenance ship.According to the operation characteristics,water resistance and the hydrodynamic response of the ship greatly affect the operational performance and economic efficiency of the ship.Therefore,the research of this paper has theoretical and practical value.For offshore wind power maintenance catamaran ship,wave resistance is an important part of the total resistance.In this paper,a professional marine and ocean engineering CFD software package FINE/Marine is used to study the asymmetric catamaran hydrostatic resistance performance by changing the relative angle of the monohulls and the degree of fineness of the unilateral body of the catamaran,thus seeking the scheme of asymmetric ship form with better resistance properties.At the same time,on the basis of which above,further research was carried to study the wave resistance performance of asymmetric catamaran ship,analysis of the influence of wave height on the pitching and heave motion and the law of the influence of wave resistance is also conducted.Considered the shield effect of wind,wave and current between wind turbine and tower base when the maintenance ship is moved against the tower.In this paper,AQWA is applied to the asymmetric catamaran with better resistance.Aiming at the coupling model between the ship and the tower,different wave heights and wind speeds are applied,CFD numerical simulation is used to calculate wind coefficient,flow coefficient and damping coefficient and natural period are obtained by hydrostatic attenuation curve to analyze the law of the ship motion.Besides,we can further study the pitch and heave response of the bow of the ship when wind and waves are affected in different angles.The relevant research results in this paper will provide some reference for the design of wind power maintenance catamaran ship and the safe use in wind and waves.
