Partial discharge can cause the insulation of electrical equipment aging,leading to equipment insulation failure and a serious threat to the security of the power system stable operation.But at the same time,partial discharge contains a wealth of information about the state of the insulation which can be inferred by obtaining discharge insulation condition of the device.Thus,the study of partial discharge detection techniques charged the normal operation of power protection equipment has a very important role.In this paper,build a partial discharge of UHF,ultrasound and transient voltage signal detection system to study the electrical equipment in a typical insulation defects(such as internal insulation material discharge,corona discharge,floating potential discharge,free metal particles discharged)locally discharge characteristic found in three four typical signal characteristic discharging insulation defects vary,which laid the theoretical foundation charged partial discharge detection.On this basis,this paper introduces the ultra-high frequency,ultrasonic and the main flow to transient voltage partial discharge detection and diagnosis charged,and analyzes the scene Example 6 from the partial discharge detection of charged and found four typical UHF signal insulation defects have a better detection,widely used in GIS,transformers,switchgear,cables and other electrical equipment,and ultrasound can not recognize the internal insulation material discharge and commonly used in PD location.In addition,the method is suitable for transient earth voltage metal-enclosed discrete equipment,such as switchgear.The conclusion that,under the current level of technology,any kind of live testing methods are not a panacea,no matter what kind of test method has some limitations,can not accurately detect all types of discharge,so any suspected defect requires two or more measuring means retest,validation,because it has a better complementarity between the various detection methods.
