Power transformer is the heart of power system, its running state directly related to the safety and reliability of the whole system.Statistical analysis shows, transformers’ insulation condition largely determines the reliability of its operation and partial discharge(PD)is the main cause of insulation aging and damage.Live detection technology can be done in the normal operation of equipment.Using live detection technology in power transformer PD detection can find potential equipment hazards in time and trace its trend.Maintenance cycle can be made according to the running status of equipment, which effectively avoid power accident and unplanned outage. So using live detection technology in power transformer PD detection not only has theoretical significance but also has practical value. In this paper,we study the integrated application of high frequency current(HFCT)method,ultra-high frequency(UHF)method and acoustic emission method(AE)in transformer PD detection. The main work includes the following aspects:(1)The cause of PD in transformer is studied and the development of PD detection method is reviewed. Each method’s characteristic has been analysis.(2)Experimental research and filed test has been done to study the characteristic of typical PD signal in transformer oil.(3)Power transformer PD detection using Multi-sensor fusion technology is put forward. This method shows advantages in eliminating interference, positioning and recognizing PD.(4)A transformer PD detection system is developed to realize live detection technology. The system can analysis the running status of transformer to avoid insulation accident.(5)PD detection practices have been carried out.Multi-sensor fusion technology shows superiority in onsite PD detection cases. |
