The Research On Industrial Heritage Creative Park Reuse Model

With the development over time,the ethos of industrial heritage protection and recycling originated in Britain has gradually become a hot spot throughout the world.Cultural and Creative industries will gradually become an important symbol to measure national or regional industrial structure,economic vitality,urban functions and consumption levels in the current era.Both of the above,on the same stage of history,have some features about strong industrial culture,easily-segmented space,spatial variety for the development of cultural and creative industries.It provides high-quality material carrier and creative industries to the industrial heritage revival.Cultural and Creative Park has gradually become the main use of industrial heritage.After the 921 Earthquake in 2000,the industrial heritage conservation has started to attract Taiwanese government’s attention.It has experienced four periods including the concept introduction,enlightenment,the awakening of consciousness,the development of normal pattern.After that,it gradually developed into five new different kinds of reuse models based on museums,Cultural and Creative Park,tourist facility,commercial space and city park respectively.In particular,Cultural and Creative park,through the strong development under the assistance of government,has become the most important direction of industrial heritage reuse.Until 2012,the International Commission for the Conservation of industrial heritage,the 15 th General Assembly and Symposium,held in Taiwan(this conference first held in Asia)and has become a milestone for Taiwan’s industrial heritage preservation,symbolizing that Taiwanese industrial preservation has connected with the world;it has also established Taiwanese irreplaceable position in the field of industrial heritage preservation.After researching the basic knowledge of Taiwan’s industrial development and industrial heritage reuse model throughout modern history,the essay focused on industrial heritage reuse model by organizing relevant policies and regulations.Also,Industrial Heritage Cultural and Creative Park reuse models were analyzed and summarized according to research and analysis on important cases,the re-use and development strategy,integrated community development,the park renovation practices,industrial heritage utilization and functional structure.And the result was expected to be influential both in the Fujian province and mainland China.
