10 kV automatic blocking and continuous transmission lines are important transmission line connecting two adjacent substations and distribution stations along the railway,shouldering the burden of power supply along the stations,interval loads,and signal equipments,are important part of the railway power system.It and the railway substation,power distribution together constitute a dedicated railway power supply system.The automatic blocking and continuous transmission lines of the railway in a complex and changeable environment,are more prone to various types of failures,which is difficult to troubleshoot the permanent failure of the railway operating safety threats the most.In order to achieve positioning rapidly the failures of automatic blocking and continuous transmission lines,this paper relies on the project of Hengshui power supply section of Beijing Railway Administration,which is hosted by Shijiazhuang Railway University "Study on fault locating of 10 kV automatic blocking and continuous transmission lines based on traveling wave theory",Studying on traveling wave theory and its application.And on this basis,a set of monitoring system is developed to achieve the fault location of the automatic blocking and continuous transmission lines.The system can accurately calculate the distance of the fault and achieve the purpose of accurate positioning by using the transmission characteristics of transient traveling wave and the displacement information and time information in the transmission process.The automatic blocking and continuous transmission lines are special power supply lines,their power supply line length,load access point and line mixing characteristics will have a greater impact on the transmission of traveling waves,which means the need to be further studied by using the traveling wave location.The main works in this paper are:(1)By referring to the latest scientific research achievements at home and abroad,comparing and analyzing the feasibility and operability of various traveling wave location,the D type traveling wave locationmethod based on two terminal electrical quantities is determined;(2)According to the theory of traveling wave transmission,It is concluded that the method of double terminal traveling wave location needs to overcome several technical problems,especially the line mixed problems;(3)The influence of transition resistance,line load and line branch on fault location is studied by using the simulation model.(4)Using the velocity normalization algorithm of the equivalent line to eliminate the problem of line mixing,And based on this,the feasibility of traveling wave positioning is studied by simulation model.(5)Find out the method to solve other technical problems,and apply it to the development of positioning device.According to the trial operation of the network,the development of the railway10 kV automatic blocking and continuous transmission lines rapid positioning device,not only stable operation,and technical indicators to meet the engineering requirements.
