The Design Of Elderly Intelligent Bathroom Product

With constant development of science and technology,people's living standards are constantly being improved.At the same time,people's average life is extended,which results in the deteriorated aging phenomenon.Faced with the increasingly severe aging population,the market development of aged products is not desirable.As the aging situation is further deteriorated,people start paying attention to and caring for the aged people.The career of the aged is just begun.As a special population,the aged people's special physical,psychological and behavioral characteristics determine their special needs for products.Therefore,to design aged people products that meet their characteristics and have reasonable functions has become the issue to be urgently solved in existing product design.The paper takes the elderly and bathroom products as the research object and content.With the guidance of intelligent design theories,the research starts from design studies and expounds intelligent design development and domestic and foreign situations by combining the aged people's physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics.Also,the importance of developing intelligent bathroom design is proposed.Finally,through analyzing existing traditional aging bath products,the research finds out those problems arising from the use and design of traditional bath products and then deeply figures out countermeasures and reasonable solutions.In this paper,products that meet the saving society and aged people's saving mind are proposed.It analyzes the application of intelligence to designs,which designs and develops safe and convenient bath facilities.Thereby,it avoids the inconvenience of the elderly people's use of bath products,relieves burdens of the aged physically and psychologically,changes the inconvenience and security risks in the process of using bathroom and increases the aged people's self-care ability and happiness index in life.In the research,with the old people's lifestyle and behavioral habits as the breakthrough of bath products,it takes the importance of old users' needs and its closeness of the solution as the design principle.This research method is an innovation and exploration of the intelligent design of the elderly bathroom products.It is expected that through design and research of the elderly bathroom products,the research provides some principles for the future elderly product design and forms a brand new concept for the elderly product designs.
