Fengshui,one of the traditional culture with thousand years history which is controversial but full of vitality.The ancient Fengshui masters were focusing on comprehension and inheritance.So,there are numerous ancient literatures talking about Fengshui theory,which main thought includes “Xingshi” and “Liqi”.Fengshui theory has very specific influence and cultural value in the Chinese history that had effect on the way the ancients creating spaces and choosing sites.The modern researches could be roughly classified into two parts.One is resume the heritage and usage.The other one is explore the relationship between the experiential aspect and the scientific aspect by applying deduce of modern science.Then,the Fengshui theory could be understood and applied.This article will show the essence of Fengshui theory,and no longer review it simply as mystique and scientific,but show the relationship between the Fengshui theory and the world through the perception of human.The outline of the thesis is as follows:Chapter 1 “Introduction” describes the motivation,background and scientific merits of this work.Chapters 2 and 3 query the pre-existing knowledge about Fengshui theory such as mystique and fuzzy concept,restore and analyze the Fengshui theory.Those analysis makes people able to contact with the world beyond experience in the way of resonance interaction.The resonance space is “Sheng Qi Chang”,“Xing” is the materialization of “Dao”,and “Qi” is “dematerialization” of “Dao”.The ancients perceive exist of “Qi” by using a series of method,and they found that perceiving can be perceived through the resonance of time,space,and consciousness.Chapter 4 talks about the three dimensions of the resonance space,which is spatial domain,time domain,and consciousness domain.These three domain are showing chaos condition under the resonance condition,just like music and notes.Spatial domain consists by various substances in the parts inside the site,it has the nature of physical measurement and measurement.Because of the consciousness of power injection,the space has possibility of change,that is to say,this space on the pattern in accordance with a kind of composite testimonies the basic pattern of feng shui,but no one is the same with another form.The different context,the different response to nature.And it is the embodiment of variation base on the “Yi” theory.This space,the author named it as the "potential space",which generate by potential,and change by potential.And,it finally presented in the form of space.During the impact of time which is so-called “Qi”,the “Qi” field intensity changes.This article analyzed both Beijing and Fengyang as example.Research points out that the resonance space is a space that conform to the Fengshui theory,that we named "potential space".It is the space with vitality,so it is considered to be the harmony of eternal space of "Dao".This is what people have been exploring for thousands of years.And,architects always strive to create the harmonious space for people.Chapter 5 talk about the project practice base on the “potential space”.From the choose of environment to architectural design,this will be a new world which base on the tradition.Base on both theory and practice,and constantly exploring,we gradually made the clearness and systematization of the achievement.As a conclusion,chapter 6 states research result and the outlook of the future.The author hope to evoke the people’s attention on Fengshui theory,and to know the essence and spirit of Fengshui theory.This article contributed a method,we can respond the surrounding by using this method.And therefore,the architectural space finally formed.This space is shown under the resonance condition,and it provided people a harmony space which conform to the aesthetic temperament,cultural identity,and spiritual experience.
