Art Research On The Application Of Architectural Fengshui Culture In Residential Space Environment

The thesis is based on the concept of architectural Fengshui,combining with the knowledge of environmental psychology and setting out from scientific and realistic perspectives.This paper discusses the application of the vitality theory,the concept of harmony concept between man and nature,the principle of seeking good fortune and avoiding evil as well as the idea of Fengshui aesthetics in interior design,which improves the original living environment and fully proves the practicability of architectural Fengshui.The architectural Fengshui culture is not unchangeable,but changing with the times and environment.The first chapter of the thesis describes the meaning,origin and development of the architectural Fengshui theory as well as the relevant background disciplines and the philosophical bases for the formation of the Fengshui theory.A large number of research status on Fengshui at home and abroad were reviewed.It is pointed out that the research significance of architectural Fengshui culture is the demand of residential environment and human development.The second chapter explains the traditional Fengshui culture in details.It is mainly divided into four parts for research,which are the vitality theory,the harmony concept between man and nature,the psychological function of seeking good fortune and avoiding evil as well as the thought of Fengshui aesthetics.The third chapter describes the application of traditional Fengshui culture in modern residential space environment.It is the confirmation and supplement of the argument in Chapter II.A large number of examples were cited,such as vital-ism to judge the internal and external living environment,the humanized design of the living space by the harmony concept between man and nature,psychological application of seeking good and avoiding bad,ways to use the aesthetic ideas of Fengshui to create a meaningful living space,etc.At the end of the paper,most of the Fengshui theories mentioned above are used to design the actual project of residential space.The original space design of the project has a lot of problems,such as the building dividing in two,the front door facing the back door,waste of resources caused by space levels,lack of Fengshui aesthetics,etc.Besides,we use the concept of architectural Fengshui to reverse this dilapidated situation step by step,designing a reasonable and beautiful space environment very suitable for life.
