| Today, lots of Chinese modern landscape design works are either rote in traditional gardens or copying the works of international landscape architecture master, and in fact, some design became destructive construction behavior and the phenomenon is common occurrence that many artificial landscape damage nature. As designer, we must fully realize that nature is evolving continuously. In view of this, landscape planning and designing should merge into this process in the general principle of"harmony between man and nature", and pay attention to the treatment of group and the whole environment's sustainable development, including ecology and nature, meanwhile, pay attention to harmony between man and nature instead of opposition.Chinese classical garden is enjoyable landscape, which implicates poetic beauty. It aims to pursue taste purport of"done by man, as if it is from nature"and is deeply impregnated with Chinese culture connotation of"harmony between man and nature"thoughts. Besides of gardening theory trending to mature during long history evolution, it has certain and countless ties connection with Fengshui theory, which is one of Chinese ancient landscape culture system. Moreover, Fengshui theory deeply infiltrates and makes influence on philosophical origin, aesthetic ideology to creation and layout of classical garden. This paper sets out theory of classical garden Fengshui, combines site real environment factor, complies with the designing principle of"harmony between man and nature", takes into account the site sprite feasibly, then integrates Fengshui into design. Based on guidance mentioned above, this paper comes to three conclusions:1. This paper takes classical garden Fengshui theory as starting point, through studying and analysis on philosophical theory, aesthetic ideology, on the basis of examples of famous royal garden, private garden, mausoleum garden and temple garden, comes to conclusion that"harmony between Yin and Yang, embraced by mountains and water"is the basic principle for site selection in ancient garden, aims to get a hiding wind and gathering gas and comfortable space. 2. Based on tourism scenic area, residential area and cemetery, which are closely combined with Fengshui theory in modern garden, the paper puts forward adapting to local condition in planning, not only considering climatic element and physical geography, but also paying attention to combination site with socioeconomic status.3. Combined ecological theory of Fengshui with modern ecological ideas, the paper summarizes that planning principle and contents that"observe ancient China's body and perceive spirit"and adaptation to local conditions. That is an investigation on the elements of wind direction, temperature, humidity and rainfall, is an analysis of terrain, Slope and aspect, purpose to guide landscape planning and designing. |
