As a popular format of space in south China's traditional residences,Patio is also used in China's contemporary constructions.In terms of traditional houses,this kind of space is the form of representation,which can be divided into a kind of patio style residence.Courtyard style houses located in the Yellow River south of the vast region,affected by the cultural and geographical climatic characteristics of different regions,patio residence diversified architectural form,but the patio space has always been the core of this kind of architecture space.From the function,the patio space is the main source of most of the rooms inside the building of natural lighting and natural ventilation;from inside the building pattern,the patio space can be regarded as the "skeleton" of architectural space,the main room is around the patio space layout,patio is the main supporting structure inside the building.This article from the morphological characteristics of the patio space in the residential flat pattern in the form mode,the patio space,the three aspects of social and cultural factors of the patio space form pattern and morphological features of analysis of the patio space in order to clarify the meaning of a type of space as the day wells in the traditional residence,and the significance the contemporary value of residential buildings.Compared with traditional folk house,the form of the patio space has changed in China,the basic reason is the change of the social background and the popularization and popularization of the modern architecture.The author takes modern space theory as the basis,the composition of the patio space in contemporary residential architecture the content of acculturation into four aspects,namely,daylighting is ventilated place,space organization and space connotation.The author starts from the analysis of the form characteristics of the patio space low layer,multilayer and high-rise residential buildings,the spatial characteristics through the analysis of different types of clear patio space in residential buildings,the design strategy has guiding significance.Contemporary public buildings in the patio space has a wide range of applications,compared to residential buildings,public buildings in the patio space form more changes,the designer's personal space claims to be more.Based on the example of the model building,this paper analyzes the basic design methods and the design significance of the contemporary public building patio space.
