Space Design Of Sharing On The Small And Medium-sized Patio Of Resort Hotel

With the constant development of economy, people’s material standards of living has been improved constantly which makes people begin to be unsatisfied with the present status. They want to get rid of the depressive living atmosphere in the city and pursue the spiritual relax. Therefore, people’s demand on vacation is growing increased. And these demands promote the corresponding development of tourism which leads to the rapid development of resort hotel.Comparing with the general hotel, the resort hotel pays more attention to the creation of communication space and public space. And such a feature is particularly obvious in the patio resort hotel. It provides various resort living places for the travelers and provides different spiritual feelings through different space changes. In today which needs to satisfy the spiritual quality, studying the environment of sharing space of court resort hotel has practical significance.Based on the relevant conceptual study on resort hotel and public space, this topic has preliminary definition and relevant research on the core problem which is "Sharing Space of Patio". Besides, it analyzes the creation of sharing space through the factors like the relationship between building matrix and sharing space as well as the space according to the psychological needs of people. Then by taking the relevant atrium resort hotels as the examples, this paper makes an in-depth analysis and research on them based on the literatures and the field survey to summarize the shortcomings in the present resort hotels. Finally starting from these shortcomings, it proposes the design principle and design strategy for the shared atrium space. After that, with the combination of theory and practice, it provides the guidance to the architectural design of the practical project, Lishui Honggu Town Resort Hotel in Kunming City.
